Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking and help the potato stacks crisp around the edges.

  2. Prepare the potatoes
    Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them very thinly, about ⅛-inch thick. A mandoline slicer works best for even slices, but a sharp knife can also be used. Uniform slices are important to ensure the potatoes cook evenly.

  3. Season the potatoes
